All in One Bridal FAQs

At All in One Bridal we get asked thousands of questions ranging from wedding gowns, vendors, photography, videography, and DJs. We are more than happy to help answer your questions. Here are four questions that come up regularly from our brides to be. We gave our answers to help guide you in your wedding gown search, vendors, photography, videography, and DJ needs.

When do I purchase my wedding gown?

Purchasing a gown is one of the most special moments in a bride’s journey. Although it is very exciting, and we know you cannot wait to get into the store and start trying on gowns right away sometimes you can make large mistakes by doing so. It is very smart to do your research and have an idea of what you are looking for when you step into the store. Do like open backs? Do you love or hate lace gowns? What silhouette would look best on you? Do you love beading, or do you love the simple and classic look? Whatever you may like bring these ideas to you first bridal appointment. But the biggest advice that I can give bride is keep an open mind when trying on gowns. When you purchase your wedding gown right when you get engaged you may not know what the feel of your wedding may be, or you may change your mind on the style you are wanting. Here at All In One Bridal we can receive any gown in our store within 4-6 months. Depending on when your wedding date you can plan accordingly. You also have to put in consideration time for the seamstress to work on your gown. Most seamstress take 2-3 months depending on how much work the gown needs. When purchasing you gown the bridal store should help you guide you through this.

What is the difference between off the rack dresses and orderable gowns?

Most off the rack bridal gowns are dresses that are no longer orderable which means that the dress is between 3-5 years old. An off the rack gown is also bought as is, meaning you can’t order a specific size. An orderable gown is a new gown that you can order in you size. This also means that the gown is a very popular style, or it is has been designed in the last couple of years.

In what order should I book my vendors?

This is the one of the biggest questions we get being in the bridal industry. When planning your wedding you want to book you biggest components within you wedding which are venue, photography, videography, DJ. Everything else will fall into place. The biggest thing is to make sure all four of these components are available for the same date. This is where All In One Bridal is extremely helpful. You can book you photography, videography, and DJ all in one place without trying to call three different businesses and trying to align one date. This makes it very easy on the bride when it comes to planning to the big day!

How do you choose a photographer, videographer and DJ?

When it comes to picking your photographer, videographer or DJ it can become very confusing. However, when starting to plan you want to know what you budget is? What style of photography are you looking for? What kind of package are you wanting when it comes to photography, videography or DJ? These questions will narrow down what you are needing and wanting. When it comes to a photographer you want to make sure you have seen their work and that they have done multiple weddings so you know they have the experience. One of the biggest things when it comes to a photographer is how many hours they will be there for. Here at All In One Bridal we are unlimited time and will be with the Bride and Groom all day. When looking for a videographer there are many important questions. Can you customize your wedding video? How long of videos do they make? Will they capture the whole day? These questions will determine whether or not it is a good fit for what you are looking for. When looking for a DJ you want to make sure they have good equipment that can handle your large crowd at your wedding. Also, how do they keep the guests on the dance floor? Here at All In One Bridal we know how to keep the dance floor going by playing great music, involving the guests and keeping high energy. Hope this helps when planning your big day!

We hope these questions helped in answering some of the most important aspects that come with planning a wedding. We are more than happy to answer your questions. You can give us a call at 563-580-7706. Happy wedding planning!
